Coca-Cola's share of the carbonated soft drinks (CSD) market in the U.S. amounted to roughly 19 percent in 2024, making it the leading CSD brand in the United States that year. Pepsi-Cola as well as Sprite ranked third with a volume share of eight percent. 

CSD consumption in the U.S.

In 2024, carbonated soft drinks were consumed by many Americans: while bottled water was consumed by roughly 28 percent of the U.S. population, almost 20 percent had drunk CSD. 

Juices and sports drinks

People in the United States drank considerably lower amounts of juice and sports drinks compared to CSD: per capita consumption of juices stood at roughly 17.7 liters, and just over 29.1 liters of sports drinks were consumed per person in 2024. The use of juices has decreased slightly since 2010, while that of sports drinks has gone up marginally since 2014.
